Ticketed for incorrect airport

My intention is to fly from Barcelona to Sevilla. It turns out upon closer inspection that the arrival airport is actually in Jerez de la Frontera. Ryanair is the carrier through
Cheapoair. I've gone ahead and booked the correct flight and airports with another consolidator that's using Ryanair also.

If i'm a no show for the original flight what am I on the hook for if anything .Please advise.

You are just another no-show. They made money flying without a body so what is the problem? Are both one-way tickets? If it is RT, your return will be cancelled.

Since you can't be on 2 flights at the same time (assuming the 2 different flights are at approximately the same time) the airline may cancel one of your tickets. To prevent the wrong one from being cancelled, go ahead and cancel the incorrect one now. You won't get money back, but it prevents the airline from guessing and canceling the wrong one for you.

Thanks Frank for the straight up reply.I don't mind losing the original purchase price for one way, I just don't want to discover a $150.00 no show credit card charge.

Avoid cheapoair like the plague. Look at their threads in air travel forum on trip advisor.

...I just don't want to discover a $150.00 no show credit card charge..... Where did you get the idea of a $150 no show charge? I have never heard of such a charge. Personally don't think there is such a thing. Under some circumstances, you can get charged, maybe $150, for changing a ticket. Several years ago we totally missed a flight - two tickets - and never heard a word. If you miss, you have paid the penalty. And cancelling double names makes no sense either. Lots of people have the same name.

Do check your departure airport as well, Ryanair markets Reus and Gerona airports as "Barcelona". The airport code you want is BCN

It may be too late at this point but with many airlines if you cancel within 24 hours of booking you can get a no-penalty refund. Not sure about Ryan Air though, it may only apply to US carriers.

Frank, people HAVE been charged for using a Hidden City fare and discarding a final flight coupon. It doesn't always happen, but it does happen. That is not what the OP is about, but it could be called a form of "no show."

That is not the question or the situation. The is the proverbial red herring that gets thrown into some discussions. Skipping the last the leg, hidden city has absolutely nothing to do with the original question and kind of adds a level of confusion that is unnecessary. Has no one on this site ever been a no-show? Ever missed an on-going flight with two separate tickets? We have and the airline was happy to fill our seat with another fare paying passenger and keep our money. Pure profit.

Nothing, absolutely nothing will happen if you are a no-show on the first leg of any flight. And, yes, believe what people tell you on this site because most, not all, speak from experience.

Should have spent a night in Jerez since you already had a ticket there. The town is nice and it’s only an hour drive from Sevilla.
