Is anyone having trouble getting their rail tickets? I purchased a print at home ticket for Paris to Amsterdam. I got an email confirming the purchase. It said I would be receiving another email so I could print my ticket. Nothing has arrived. I tried calling them. The wait was 1 hour and 25 minutes! Yikes! What up with Rail Europe.
Go to www.seat61.com, figure out why no one buys from Rail Europe, and take the advice about where to buy French train tickets. Cancel the transaction with Rail Europe and you will likely be astounded at the real price and selection of tickets Paris to Amsterdam.
Ha ha. Yes, George is EXACTLY correct!
I guess we're all done it ONCE.
Maybe the second email got stuck in spam?? Or could you send a reply email asking about it?
Good luck! !
If by any chance RE has not full filled the order. Cancel. It will save money. Rail Europe is a travel agency selling limited tickets to North Americans. They do not sell tickets to all the trains or generally provide the discounts that may be available. RE is good if you require a lot of hand holding.
Rail Europe's prices for Thalys trains are not much different from any other site, including advance discount tickets which are not refundable or changeable. When was the purchase date? Have you checked your spam, trash, or "promotions" email folders? Since they are hard to get on the phone, it would be better to contact them online. The fans of the Man in Seat 61 should note that he does also link readers to Rail Europe to purchase tickets.
