Family of 5 21 days in EU/UK. June 11:Fly into Amsterdam and see the Ann Frank house (lunch/walk) in 8 hour layover.
Then fly into ROME and stay 11-12-13. Train to Sorrento 14-15-16 (Mt.V/Pompeii/Amalfi drive). 17th Fly or train to Venice. 18-19 in Venice. 20-21-22 are open we would like to see the Alps on the way to Paris. 23-27 Paris. 28-July 2 London....Fly Home.

LOL! Pisa is out (for now), but I would like to see the Alps in the 2-3 days we have to get to Paris.
Would Driving be OK?
The more I look at train costs, I feel a 17day car lease will pay off for us. We have 2 long drives: Sorrento to Venice and Venice to Paris. Will the drives be wonderfull with lots of stops, or NOT SO MUCH!
