The Tour Guy Travel Blog -- another possible source for information on travel in Europe

I'm definitely behind the curve on learning about this information resource for travel in Europe. I can't vouch for its accuracy since I haven't used it in a real way, but I think it is a well-designed website with lots of pictures. I like the organization and seemingly current information.

The information can be accessed in a variety of ways including Destinations and Attractions in the top margin. Choosing something from either alphabetical list will take you to the city itself or the city where the attraction is. From there you can click to a lot more including Eats (... Best Restaurants in ...) and Stays (Where to Stay in...). In both cases, the cost is indicated by the number of € or £ or $ (in the case of the US cities and Iceland oddly).

A brief perusal of the Eats and Stays recommendations for a few cities revealed a variety of takes on them as well as a variety of price points. For examples: the Best Restaurants in Paris are linked to where they are or near to and the hotels in Venice are identified by Neighborhood, Best, With Pools, Family-Friendly, Affordable. Each listed hotel seems to have a link that takes you to Booking.com for more information.

Of course there are tours being promoted by The Tour Guy. Some are listed as The Roman Guy which I had heard of before. And these are recommendations from this organization and the people who work for it.

There are also short videos. I only looked at one, but I found it entertaining and informative. It's on the Venice page at the following link and is titled, "Hidden Gems of Venice: Cannaregio (Jewish Ghetto)." Scroll down this link a bit to get to it: https://thetourguy.com/travel-blog/italy/venice/top-things-to-do-in-venice-this-year/
