Most cross body bag is for average or tall women which is quite long for petite woman as I am. Any bag suggestion for woman under 5 feet. Your suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm a mere 5'2" and I love my Tom Bihn Small Cafe Bag. The strap length is adjustable and it's just the right size for wallet, small camera, pen and notebook, guidebook, cell phone, and a bottle of water. I've had mine for 5 years and it's gone all over the US and Europe with me -- it's my daily bag.
Thanks for your suggestion. I am taking an one inch binder with all the travel related documents for my 3 weeks trip (i.e. train/air/hotel/restaurant/sight info), do you think it wil fit in this bag along with Rick Steves' Europe 2010 book?
I have the Pacsafe CitySafe 200, and it's designed to be a shoulder/cross-body bag, so if you shorten the strap to the shoulder- or near shoulder-length, it should be a good cross-body length for a shorter person.
The small Cafe Bag will not carry an 8.5x11 binder. You could look at the medium and large Cafe Bags -- check out tombihn.com.
Try a LeSportsac purse. The strap is long enough to wear cross-body & shortens very easily. A great bag for traveling.
I live by my Timbuk2 messenger bag. It is an actual messenger bag used by messengers. So it is very secure and rather petty hand proof. The velcro is tough and incredibly loud so you would know if someone hand intentions of getting in your bag. Plus there are clips to secure so it is double secured. I use the small bag which would be big enough for a document case. Take a look. www.timbuk2.com Then google shop one because if you research well, you can find one cheap. I found mine at a Marshalls for $20, originally it was $80-90.
I am 5' and use the eBags Piazza day bag (see http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/piazza-day-bag/94553?productid=1237311, some on sale, free shipping right now). The strap shortens up a lot. I use it as my daily bag (worn cross body) and also just took a trip to Spain with it. I had my guide book, umbrella, wallet, camera, and other little things in there no problem. Your binder might not fit in it, however.
The Tom Bihn Medium Cafe Bag definitely fits a standard paper sized binder--I use mine for that all the time. (And I'm 5' 1'', so I can vouch for it as a good size for a petite person.)
Oh, it's a purse-type bag! LOL... When I saw the words "body bag," I was wondering for a moment if someone was looking to ship a petite woman's body somewhere. Whew!
