I am trying to book the Paris to Berlin Sleeper Train for October 31 (Thursday). I understand part of that route is closed down now for maintenance but all the train sites including NightJet say it resumes October 26 or so. I am unable to see a price or purchase a ticket anywhere. Is it just a matter of them waiting until it is closer to the date to make sure they can really open it then or is the resumption date moved later? Thank you kindly in advance.

It looks as if Nightjet have not released Inventory for the service yet, as no date after 26 October has any availability (even the seated cars) showing.
Fares are very dynamically priced now on Nightjet so it just depends on demand that night what you eventually pay.
That isn't a night when the European Sleeper runs from Brussels to Berlin either (unfortunately) so it seems to be a case of wait and see.
