FYI
I had a travel purse from REI that had a magnetic closure. I couldn't understand why my Paris metro tickets wouldn't work when everyone else's were until I realized the magnets were messing them up. I took the tickets to the service counter and had them replaced but I threw away a few before I realized I was not the problem but the magnets.

Not a hope in hell I would try it.. I am very sure if you can put it on.. then it can be taken off you .. no thanks. One good bump on the metro or in a crowd and away it goes.

I'd use a good neck pouch, instead.
Magnets can have an effect on your credit cards, as well as everything else.

I haven't tried this product, but a magnetic flap closure on a messenger bag ruined a credit card magnetic strip. Beware!

THANKS. Excellent point. I'm glad you guys mentioned the effects of the magnets. Should have thought if that myself since I had to have to have my badge replaced three times in one week after I bought a new purse. This was back in the mid80s and I was new to both magnetic purse closures and jobs requiring ID badges with magnetic stripes.

I guess I'm bringing the trusty old belt bag out of storage for my little camera, Fot this item I'm looking for convenience over security.

Years ago, in the early internet days, my boss had to put her changes to our website on a floppy disk, and mail it to the web guy. One time, she had to do it all over again. It seems he had a big magnet in his briefcase and wiped out the disk. It seemed like a Far Side cartoon- the IT guy with a giant Looney Tunes magnet in his briefcase.
