The Globe in London

Has anyone sat in middle gallery (3rd row) in a "green" seat (the 15 euro one)? Wondering if those cheaper seats are fine or if we should go with the more expensive ones.

We have been to the Globe but not those seats. However, if you go to the Globe Theatre web site, then box office, then seating plans, you get a layout of the theatre seats. Click on the eyeballs and they show you what the viewpoint is from that seat.

Sheila,
I've never made it to the Globe, but last time in London we stayed near it and our host had an interesting recommendation: get the cheap seats but also try the "groundling" experience of standing. He said it was amazing the way the actors connect with the people standing near the stage. But if you have paid for a seat then at least you have somewhere to collapse if necessary!
have a great time-

When we went to the globe we stood down by the stage as groundlings. If you do that you should get there early to get a good spot. Standing was fun but it did get tiring (after a day of sightseeing in London). I think the cheap seats will be fine. It is a small theater. Have fun!
