Gave up all forms of reality TV YEARS ago.....except for TAR! Yes, very often the tasks/challenges the teams have to go through are beyond silly, BUT for anyone who loves world travel (like us passionate travelers in the Rick Steves online community!), the show is great. I especially LOVE when they visit places I've been to, and I recognize the scenery, buildings, landmarks, etc. I also just love to see where they travel from week-to-week. And considering they often spend such short amounts of time in any one destination, they do a farely decent job of sharing tips re: local culture & customs (through the tasks, foods they have to eat, showing meaningful local landmarks, etc.). Looking forward to the coming season-- I've been watching regularly now since the show began back in, I believe, 2001!
