Thanks Webmaster/Kate, et al. (Aka. what a difference a year makes)!

This is just a quick THANK YOU to Webmaster Andrew, Kate and all the others to running this forum so well.

Looking back to last January, I bet you didn't think we'd get here. The major website and forum changes were certainly hard to handle for many of us who had been around for a while, but all in all I like how the new website/forums changed. I'm sure many others feel the same way now. All the discussions, comments, and complaints were only because we all love it here so and we wanted to ensure that the "Helpline" wouldn't lose its' knowledge base/reliability or the respectful, caring,and cozy community-feel that was here before.

It hasn't.

So, thanks for all your hard work and putting up with those of us that are slow to accept change! I love coming here often (sometimes multiple times/day!) and I appreciate all your hard work in keeping this place going!!!

Here's hoping your next year will be better than this one!! :)

I like all the changes to the website too, and was one of the few that liked them right away. This was a massive undertaking and I appreciate the devoted hard work from Andrew and Kate as well as their patience in putting up with all of the complaints.

Funny how we forget so quickly and get used to the changes in a short time.

I can't say I like everything better, but there are many, many improvements that I appreciate. I also like the new look and feel a lot. It's a huge job, so thank you very much. Hope you are having a happy holiday season, and happy new year!

I kinda miss all those messages concerning which shoes or clothes to wear. Also, what happened to "how do I not look like a tourist/American?" Or which luggage to buy. We no longer have "older" or "disabled" travelers. Maybe all these issues have been taken care of? The forum is better organized than before.

I agree with Jo. So many great changes. It's a fast moving world and I commend and celebrate the site's ability to stay current and still be informative and functional.
