Texting/Calling Question

I'm bringing my American iPhone with me to France and Spain and will just use it occasionally to either text or call a French/Spanish mobile number. If the number I want to contact is: +34605791234 or +33647891234 would I enter all 11 digits to text and/or call including the + sign?

Thanks!!

Dial the number you have listed, but forget the plus sign and stick 011 at the beginning. Ex 01134........

Use no spaces or punctuation, just sequential digits.

Thanks!! I read that page and it seems like I don't need to add the 011 if I'm using my American iPhone in France or Spain:
If you’re using a mobile phone, dial as if you’re in that phone’s country of origin. So, when roaming with your US phone in Italy, dial as if you’re calling from the US. If calling from any mobile phone, you can replace the international access code with “+”

so if I'm reading it right, it seems like I need to enter all 11 digits with the + in front of it to call/text within France or Spain?

Many people besides those posing a question read the responses.

Most may not know how to enter a plus sign on a mobile phone in order to gain international access. The method does not work on all tablets. Also, it does not work on all phones in all nations. My method does.

Your method (in your last post only) should work in your specific case.
