Technical question about this site

There is a feature that I really like about cruisecritics.com (we use that site before we go on a cruise). If you go to your profile, you can view every post you've ever written on the site. I've been using this site for over 3 years and have lots of posts. Some of which I've forgotten, but some of which I wish I could refer back to. Is there a way to find old posts or responses by myself? Or if I put my name in the search, will it pull them up? If not, this would be a really useful feature!

Jo, let me get this straight. You can't edit or delete posts from the GRAFFITI WALL or the FEEDBACK section? ;-)

Amy: To answer your original question, the best way to find your own previous posts on the Helpline is, do not use the Helpline Search box. Instead, go to Google Advanced Search, in the Search Within a Site box enter ricksteves.com, in All of these Words enter helpline amy clarksville (Google ignores capitalization), and you get 137 hits. If you want your search to include the Graffiti Wall, omit the word helpline and enter graffiti wall instead.

There is a lot of stuff that could be improved upon on this site. I would like to be able and go back and read what I wrote to people in a PM. Sometimes I forget, did I write them or not? Nothing there. Finding old posts on here is a hassle, and some of us have spoken to the webmaster about it. On the Graffiti Wall and Feedback, you cannot edit or delete your own posts. People were getting spam from having their email addresses on the Graffiti wall. There is no button on here to report inappropriate mails to the webmaster as there are on most forums. Itoo would like to be able to pull up my old posts, if only to get websites I have found for others. On Trip Advisor, you can click on anyone's name and view all their posts. Some of those people have over 9,000 posts, as they have been posting for so long. I like to use it when someone has been sort of nasty and to check and see if they are like that with everyone or just me, or if they are trolls, or simply provoking to provoke. It is a good feature that I really wish this forum had on occasion. It lets me check my own post to see if I myself was out of line.

Hopefully the webmaster will read this thread.

If you go to the main Helpline board, at the top there's a "take a tour before you get started" link where you can report inappropriate posts. Also if you're logged in, you can edit or delete a post if you go back to look at the post.

You can't delete or edit anything on the Graffiti Wall or the Feedback section.

Most travel website forums just have a button to hit for inappropriate mails.

I have edited or deleted my own entries. Just sign-in and go to the question you contributed to. There are choices to edit or delete.

Swan- You cannot edit posts you made on the Graffiti Wall or Feedback section, only those you made in the Travelers' Helpline.

It would seem to me, that logically, if you can do it in one place you should easily be able to do it in another.

I also asked the webmaster why the Travel Partners Wanted section could not work like the Travelers' Helpline, in that people could PM you. That way our email address would not need to be out on the site for anyone to SPAM. However, I received no response.

Thank you Laura, that is what I keep saying, 3 times now. You cannot edit or delete posts from the GRAFFITI WALL or the FEEDBACK section. I would like to remove my email from one of those and it is impossible. Not cool.

Believe me, I do know how to delete or edit posts on the Travelers Helpline.

A major inconvenience, for me anyway, is that when you log in, and it says "messages" after profile, profile is on the far RH side of the window, but if you click it, you have to click on the name and password boxes on the LH side of the screen. Can't this at least be put on the same part of the window so you don't have to move the mouse around so much?
