I like to use my ipod ear buds when I get an audio guide at museums and other places. I've had trouble getting them to work in both ears. Sometimes they do and many times they do not. Is there an adapter plug that would ensure the message would be to conveyed to both ears with mostly all of the guides? I did run into one on the last trip that had proprietary plugs and had to be used with the earphones furnished with it.
But so far, that seems to be rare.
Ah, you are correct. I misread the question. No iPod involved. Previous reply deleted. Pretend it never happened...
Thanks. Looks like that might work.
The intermittent problems he is having is because he is using different types of audio guide devices. Some output a mono "feed" (for the supplied mono headphones),others regular stereo. The Radio Shack adapter takes the single mono channel and sends it to both sides of a stereo ear buds.
Wha? Did Randy say something? I didn't hear him...;-)
