The best meal we had in ALL OF ENGLAND on our recent trip was a beautiful and delicious dinner at the Old Stocks Hotel in Stow, just behind the village green/stocks, and across from the Stow Lodge, were we stayed. Plan a sit-down meal there...you won't regret it. Cheers!
