Tall Size Women's Travel Pants that roll up to capris?

I know this is a very specific question, but I am hoping someone has the suggestion I am looking for! I had ordered a few pairs of tall women's travel pants that role up to be capris, too, about 6 weeks ago. They were on back order and so I waited patiently. I have now been emailed that they are no longer available. I have one month before our trip and I know I can make due without them, but I am wondering if anyone has any light-weight pants that might compare that I could look into ordering? I have found tons of options that zip off to shorts, but was hoping for pants that become capris. And, I am 5'10" so they need to come in a tall option or run long. Thanks all!

The Railriders catalog lists the longest inseam of it womens pants as 31.5 inches. www.railriders.com. I have found their clothes look better in real life than in the photos.

Look at ExOfficio 'Roll-up Pants'. Not sure if the in-seam length is tall enough though. Some golf clothing retailers might also have 'convertible' pant-to-Capri styles for those cool early mornings that turn to warmer late mornings on the golf course.

I've noticed that The North Face has tall/long women's hiking pants and also their pants run longer in general. The ones I'm thinking of are the type where you can zip off the bottoms and make long shorts, but I'll look and see if they make something similar in pants to capri length. What's your inseam? I swear clothing manufacturers need to make more clothes for tall women. I'm 6'2" and have a hard time finding pants long enough. eta: Here's what I found on The North Face's website: Women's Horizon Tempest Pants

Take a look at the Eddie Bauer Travex pant. It is a travel-friendly nylon-spandex fabric, full length pant with buttons on the leg so you can roll them up to capri length. Like most Eddie Bauer pants, they come in Petite, Regular, and Tall sizes. Inseam on the Talls is 35". I like the fit and quality of Eddie Bauer pants and have 5 pr. In a discontinued line that is great for travel. Looks like this Travex pant might be my next style ( although I would buy a Petite, not Tall!)

I have a pair of leggings on because I went for a bike ride earlier this evening. I just tried pulling then up to capri length (mid-calf) and hiding the extra bit under a tunic-length blouse. It works quite well and is very comfortable. The leggings would need to be lightweight, though, or they could be too warm in hot summer weather.

Angela, I recently purchased the REI Aldervale Rollup Pants. They are very comfy. Here's the link: REI Aldervale Rollup Pants
I believe it is free shipping for orders over $50.

Thanks all so much for the ideas! The ones that were on back order and I was notified are no longer available are the Eddie Bauer Travex pants. I am sad...I like them a lot! I was considering REI and so I will give those a try. :) Thanks again all!

The EMS women's trailhead pants convert to a couple of lengths, and come in long sizes (though they don't have every size online).

Bummer! But the Eddie Bauer website says most size/color combos of the Travex pant in Tall are available for shipment 6/21. Will that be too late? If so, you might consider this one: http://www.eddiebauer.com/catalog/product.jsp?ensembleId=21937 It is the "StayShape" slim pant, the most recent iteration of the ones I have in 5 colors. They have a tapered leg so cannot be rolled up to capris, but otherwise are the perfect travel pant-comfortable, flattering, wrinkle-adverse, pack small, wash easily and dry quickly despite the fact that they are cotton (the 8% spandex help fast drying and wrinkle avoidance). With no pockets or waistband and a side zip, they are minimalist and can easily be dressed up.

I do have one more pair that is back ordered until 6/21...I have hope it might come through. But, my pair that was supposed to ship on 6/7 (same kind, different color) went to not available on 6/3. So, I am reluctant to trust I will actually see the 6/21 pair now. (We leave on 7/3-so that would still work IF I get it.) I would rather have too many pairs than none! I have REI options on the way to me right now. Thank you all for all the suggestions. I am very appreciative!

My favorite convertible travel pants are made by the Mountain Hardware company. They have black and khaki colors, and sometimes others, and they zip off to capris. The style is the Yuma or Yumalina convertible pant. My last pair was purchased through REI.com and they had the pants in different length options. You may also want to try sierratradingpost.com or the Mountain Hardware website.

I purchased the Travex pant in EB store prior to recent trip to Italy. Then happened to be in Chicos outlet and found similar pant which I purchased. I found a similar pant for husband in Target sold as golf pant. The advantage to these pants is the nylon spandex fabric as they are easily washed in sink and drip dry overnight, are warm enough in cool weather and cool enough in warm weather. Perhaps Chicos online or Lands End online have a similar version in length to meet your requirements.

REI has an ExOfficio Nomad pant that can be rolled up Capri length or left long. Also, try the Columbia brand at REI or Zappos.

The North Face Horizon Tempest has long end seam and can be rolled up, it is nylon rip stop and has a security pocket. Can be found at Zappos and other outdoor clothing stores.

I don't think that anyone is being kept up at night wondering if I found pants that would work, but I thought I would share that I did and thank you! One pair of the Eddie Bauer Travex pants (the ones I wanted all along) will now ship in time for our trip. (Since I ordered them about 6 weeks ago-that is good news that they will make it here on time!) And, in the meantime, I ordered a few pairs from REI and one pair that zips off for shorts and is made by Columbia worked for me despite not being tall sizing. (I had read in review they run long and this 5'10" person can verify that they do!) Thanks all for sharing your ideas!
