Has anyone been on the Tahitian Princess? We are going on it in May (Emerald Isle and Baltic Splendors) and I am wondering if it will be rough sailing since it is a smaller ship than we are used to.
Thanks so much for the info. I am new to this site, so I really don't know about all it has to offer.
Hi Barbara...
As a fellow cruiser I would like to suggest that you wander over to Cruisecritic.com and the Princess boards..we will share with you a wealth of information on ship and itinerary as how to do specific to cruising.
There is also the Baltic port boards and a roll call specific to your sailing that you might want to check out.
I have done 3 Baltic cruises. 1 in May and 2 in July and August. In May the weather was actually much better.
I have also sailed on the Tahitian's sister ship the Pacific Princess for 24 nights Hawaii/Tahiti itinerary.
Regarding information for you that I can provide.
We wrote out a trip report along with photos on our personal travel journal. How we did the ports..was it on our own, with a shorex or hiring a private tour. The resources we used for research. If you choose a private guide for St. Pete I used Red October for 6 days and was thrilled. Our private itinerary is also on our website.
If you would like to view the above go to the address below. The sections you will be interested in are Where we've been, Photos, AND to view Pacific Princess photos which is the SAME as the Tahitian go into Karen's Cruise Corner.
