My husband and I are meeting friends in Chamonix in mid-February for a 4 day ski trip (flying into Geneva). We want to take an additional 4-5 days to tour after skiing. At the moment, I think our preference would either be to (a) go to Switzerland and maybe do the Glacier Express and build an itinerary around that or (b) head to Munich, rent a car and tour some of the smaller towns along the Romantic Road, heading toward Frankfurt.
I have been to both countries before, my husband has been to neither.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
