Hi all-
I am planning a trip for November 16th to December 8th. I will fly in to Barcelona to visit my boyfriend until the 25th and then taking off by myself for around 10 days.
For some context, I have been going to Europe about 3 times a year for the last couple years and lived in Rome for 4 months. I have been through the dolomites a few times. Most recently in May when I did 4 days of solo hiking near Castelrotto. I know it will be rainy/ snowy and cold there in November/ December but I enjoy the colder weather. I was in Innsbruck last year in November and thought it was cozy and beautiful.
I expect to fly from Barcelona to Zurich/ Milan or Innsbruck. And eventually make my way down to Rome where I will be spending 4 nights. Though happy to make most of that journey in 1-2 days. I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. I won't have a car so anything reachable by trains and bus would be ideal.
I speak some italian so I would love to be in places where I could practice, though I know in the south tyrol italian is often spoken after german and Ladin.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
S
