Planning on taking my prescription medicines in their original labeled bottles. However, wondering if I can get away with putting my (necessary) supplements in ziplocs to save on space and weight in our hand baggage. Has anyone run into any problems at customs/immigration carrying supplements not in their original bottles? Unortunately the majority of my supps come in glass bottles versus plastic which is of course heavier. Thanks.

I carry my pills just as you have outlined and have received no security notice over a dozen trips to Europe.

That's valuable information to know. But is that for any prescription or just for controlled narcotics?

I was asking about the filling of prescriptions at a pharmacy, not the security issue.
