Super excited for first RS tour-21 Day best Of Europe April 25!

Hellos fellow travelers!

So thrilled for my first RS tour next week ! Have been a RS fan for many years, enjoying the TV shows and more recently the Monday Night Travel, all the great RS website information, and travel book info!
It is also my first visit to Europe in 40 years, since I was a child visiting family in Germany, beyond happy ! Have traveled alot in the USA, a bit in Mexico and Caribbean.

From Victoria BC Canada, I am flying to Amsterdam, where I have a fabulous hostel stay at Vondelpark for 2 nights, ( I am an avid hosteler) then I meet the tour in Haarlem, yay!
After the tour ends in Paris, I am going by Eurostar to explore London for 3 days, then flying back home from Heathrow!

This Forum has been very helpful in planning for the past few months and adding to the excitement, and also feeling a part of a wonderful RS traveling community!

Thank you everyone and happy travels !

What a wonderful time you will have! This is one of my very favorite tours .... out of 12!

I'm glad you are adding on time in Amsterdam and London. IF you are interested in the Van Gogh museum which is just steps away from Vondelpark go ahead and book now. There is a nice Albert Heijn grocery store at your end of the MuseumPlein. It's below ground so you'll just enter what looks like an elevator to a parking garage and go down to the grocery store, lol. London is a good way to end your trip as well....when I did my 21 day BOE I started in London, lol.

Being from BC I'm sure you have a waterproof rain jacket with a hood...it will likely be needed at some point in your month!

Netherlands is all about contactless CCs. If you don't currently have Apple Pay or Google Pay set up on your phone, do it now and use it between now and your travel time. I actually even used it for the bathroom at the Amsterdam Centraal train station! Do start trying to collect some coins for bathrooms along the way. Buying a bottle of water with a 5E note will get you some change if you need it.

In a very, very odd coincidence I was talking to a friend who lives in Amsterdam and she was telling me she had coffee at the cafe at this hostel yesterday, lol!! Weird!
