"Suite" Hotel Chains in Europe?

Hi Everybody,

Does anyone know of any hotel chains that have a presence in Europe that would be suites? I may be traveling with my mom next year and we would like something where we could each have our own bedroom, maybe with a small kitchen, like a Residence Inn by Marriott for instance? We would most likely be looking in Ireland, England, and/or the Netherlands. Do you know of any Eurooe chains that do this? I have been looking at American chains ( Embassy Suites, Homewood, Residence Inn, etc). but most don't have properties in Europe.

I would be fine using small hotels, etc.,but my Mom is not that kind of traveler. She would prefer something more familiar. We definitely need our own rooms, due to snoring, etc.

Thanks for any ideas ( especially sinceI realize this isn't really in the RS forum purview, since we all tend to go with smaller hotels.) :)

look for apartment hotels instead of suites and you might get a few more hits .I have used one in Prague a few years ago (Orion) and it was a nice apartment but with many hotel services including breakfast ,worked well for me.
Booking.com is quite a good company for searches.

There are some Staybridge Suites in the UK including 1 in London although the current Stratford location is a bit out of the way. One is to open in Vauxhall latest this year. A local company called Roomzzz is also slowly expanding. The drivers are more serviced apartment companies downscaling rather than hotels upscaling.

Accor has their Adagio suites and apartments in many bigger European cities but I'm not sure how common they are in Ireland.

Look at Citadines. Most of their properties have some type of kitchen although in some cases it's only a kitchenette.

The other way to go, as stated before, is by finding apartments. Look for "managed" apartments as they are somewhat like hotels with a front desk, housekeeping, etc., but you get an apartment.

There's also a chain called Adina, mostly in German-speaking countries, and another in France called Appartcity.

You might get some answers if you let us know the cities you're visiting.
