Time off is tricky, so we get a week to cram in some cool stuff. Last year we did Paris (2 nights)...Lille (1 night)...Bruges (2 nights)...Amsterdam (2 nights). It was amazing, and for a first timer to Europe, holy man is it awesome to hop trains & just cruise around!
That said, this time we're hoping to do something similar in this area. Around the 1st of the year. Couple nights here & there. And nothing major for "to do's" - just relax and enjoy the food & people & scenery & soak it all in.
Any suggestions on a route of sorts? I'm still snooping around here, but figured I'd ask as well :)
