It's July 1, so the Swiss Travel Pass discount should be available. I've had so many difficulties in the past [discussed here], buying the STP on line. There may be better luck using the app; haven't tried that before.

Pat, I did not need to alert my credit card company. If I'm remembering correctly, the issues in the past with purchasing the Pass on-line was with the SBB website. To get the current discount you need to purchase from one of the websites mentioned on the Switzerland forum. I really don't think you'll have any problems.

Pat, my sister and her husband did have to contact their credit card company as they received a fraud alert when purchasing the Pass. After the call, they reentered the credit card info. and the transaction was processed successfully. They used a Chase Mastercard.
