Strollers allowed in Church/Museums in Rome, Venice and Paris?

Hi Folks, We are carrying our stroller for our toddler. Will we be able to carry him in it inside the various church and museums in Rome, Venice and Paris? How can I find this out? Thanks.

I can't speak to Paris, but in 2007 we were able to use our stroller in most places in Rome and Venice. However, we were not able to use it at St. Peter's (much to my wife's consternation as my son had just fallen asleep). We didn't do the Vatican Museums, so I can't speak to those.

I think your best bet might be to search the websites of the various places you want to visit to find out for sure, or call them if you can't find it on their website. For example, I checked the Louvre website and found that they allow strollers (you can even borrow one from them). It may take some time, but then you would know for certain.

Just a side note that bambinos under 3 ride free on Italian trains. Oddly, as reported on the train website, there is no guarantee of a seat. If no seat available, they would expect you to hold the child.
