Strasbourg - France

Hi, I'm trying to decide where to go after leaving Belgium. So far our itinerary is the following:
Tampa - London
London 2 nights
London - Prague
Prague - 4 nights
Prague - Amsterdam
Amsterdam - 3 nights
Amsterdam - Bruges/Ghent/Brussels - Trying to decide which city should I stay as base as I want to stay just 1/2 day in Brussels.
2 nights
Brussels or Bruges to Paris
3 nights in Paris
Trying to decide if I should do a day trip to Strasbourg or maybe stay one night there.
(I've been in London and Paris before and visited the main attractions so I want to know new places that are nice and not to far by train)
Paris/London/Tampa

Any advice or ideas? I have already booked Hotel in London/Prague&AMS, still need to decide where to stay in the other cities.

Look at it this way, the travel from Paris to Strasbourg and back is 5-6 hours by fast train. How much time will that give you in the city?

I can't imagine seeing Strasbourg on a day trip from Paris. I can't imagine spending over 5 hours just on transportation for a day trip.

Why not add an extra day to your Belgium stay? Visit the coast or a castle or Flanders Fields & WWI sights or ... in addition to Ghent, Bruges and Brussels.

There is so much to see in Paris outside of the main attractions that you could stay a month and not see everything the city has to offer.

I love Prague we really love Prague. My question is why you are going to Prague on this trip. I only question why because London to Prague then Prague to Amsterdam seems like a waste of time. Why not add days on to Brussels, Bruges and London. Go to Prague when you find yourself on that side of Europe someday.

Paris to Strasburg is 1:45min by train.
Brussels to Strasburg is 3.5-4hrs by train.
I could leave Brussels @ noon and go straight to Strasburg, spend one night there and the entire next day and @ the end of the day go back to Paris. Just a thought.

Another idea would be staying in London as my flight back to Tampa is from LHR. Maybe visit the Windsor castle one day and enjoy the other free day there or stay one more day in Bruges or Brussel.
