The spot-on but comically exaggerated diction and awful pronunciation of foreign words move this from the "tedious" to the "brilliant" category. Is there a Samantha Brown parody out there? There's another travel host who almost writes her own parody.

I agree that it's quite funny. I think he's a good sport to post it to his blog. But, although you think I'd be used to it by now, I continue to be amazed by the rudeness and snarkiness of people who post comments on his blog, and no doubt other blogs. I wonder if the anonymous ease with which post these comments is what then contributes to the the verbal rudeness that seems to permeate society today. Pam
