We are considering purchasing a UV light water purifier for travel in areas where we are concerned about drinking water safety. Has anyone used one? If so, were you happy with the results? Thanks!

I agree that for most destinations in Europe it's probably overkill. We're traveling in Southern and Central Turkey.

The water is fine. Our son and dil spend a month in Turkey last May from central Turkey to nearly everywhere and had no problems with water or food.

Tap water in Europe is safe.
Steri pens are a must if you are camping or hiking any where in world and rely on stream water or lakes.
