We wish to visit Amsterdam, Jungfrau, Hallstatt (Vienna if possible) in between, we have only two weeks time, it can be by train, by flight or by coach, is it possible to make it? How should we plan it?
The distances of the places you want to go to are too great for train or bus travel so you may want to cut something out so you are not exhausted:
Edinburgh 2 nights
Fly direct to Amsterdam from Edinburgh.
Amsterdam 3 nights
Fly Amsterdam to Vienna;
Vienna 3 nights daytrip to Hallstatt
Fly Vienna to Zurich
From Zurich take the train to Lauterbrunnen
Stay in Lauterbrunnen 3 nights with the a daytrip up to Jungfrau;
Take train Lauterbrunnen to Zurich Airport; Fly to London
London 2 nights
Thank you Jazz+Travels!
We thought the same, and considering remove Jungfrau and replace with Prague, does it sounds better? Or shall we just remove Jungfrau and replace with nothing, stay few more days in each city?
there are no mobs of tourists in Jungfrau where the focus is the natural beauty of the mountains ; you are already seeing a lot of old town Europe
