Our first meeting in December was a success! 5 of us with varying degrees of travel experience enjoyed sharing travel experiences and asking for advice on future trips. We welcome all who are interested to join our casual discussion group. The next meeting will be Saturday, Jan. 19 at Saint Louis Bread Co. 10740 Sunset Hills Plaza St. Louis, MO 63127 The Plaza & Shoppes at Sunset Hills (314) 966-1070

We had a nice group in December. I hope everyone makes it again, and some others join us!
It's on my calendar! I'm looking forward to it.
Moving this back up so more new people can see it and attend!
I'm definitely interested. What time are you meeting? Is there a particular location you meet in the Bread Co or any way to identify the group since I don't know anyone attending? Thanks!
Maureen
I think everyone should wear backpacks, moneybelts on the outside of your clothing, and string a clothesline with damp clothing on it over your table. That should work to ID the group ;-) No?
Oops! Forgot to say we meet at 10:00 a.m. We met for about an hour and a half but have no set ending time. I put a little sign on the table, "St. Louis Travel Group (Rick Steves)". It is a large cafe and was pretty crowded in December, so just wander around and look for us. If you look lost, we'll probably ask if you're searching for us.
Another way, less entertaining than the moneybelt/laundtry idea, to identify your group is for at least one of you to bring a Rick Steves guidebook and place it on the table so it's visible to people scanning the room looking for you.
I thought we had a great time - see you Saturday!
