Spending Night at Munich Airport

Just returned from my Eastern Europe trip. The trip was great, everything went smoothly as planned including spending the last night at Munich Airport. If someone wants to spend the night at Munich Airport, it is safe, seats have no armrest so you can lie down. Try to stay in Central Area of the airport where a Cafe is open 24 hours and there are rest rooms near by. The Central Area is where you catch a subway to Munich city center. Hope this will be helpful for travelers who can not find an accommodation in Munich during the Oktoberfest.

Hey thanks MJ! My fiancee and I have a 4 hour lay over in Munich and I'm pretty sure we'll be sleeping there. We are arriving late at night (around 10 pm), but I was wondering if there was anything we might be able to do outside of the airport. Or is it even worth our while?
Thanks
Jessica

I agree with reading the reports on airports around the world at: www.sleepinginairports.com.
Many travelers sleep safely in airports. But do your homework first by reading about them. Some are not safe.
