DH sent in passport renewal to Philly, they received it last Monday and immediately cashed the check. Today received his new passport! One week turnaround. Amazing. His old passport wasn’t in the envelope, will it come under separate cover?

I got my new passport 6 weeks after sending it in, normal service. Two weeks later, I got my old cancelled passport.

It was a 4 week turn around on my renewal back in January and February. My old passport arrived the week after my new one.

Two weeks on my expedited renewal, including postal time. My wife has waited three weeks but is tracking it on the State Dept website and expects it soon. Funny that we both mailed our forms off at the same time. We've heard that it can take quite awhile for the old ones to be returned. I really don't see why anyone wants an old one other than nostalgia.

The crazy thing is - I did not pay for expedited renewal! Thought we have plenty of time till we take Paris & HOF in late September so I opted out of expediting. It still came so quickly. Amazing
