I am planning a 12-14 day trip of Europe with my 4 year old and 12 year old kid and my spouse in November 2024 (around Thanksgiving holidays). Can anyone suggest which place will have less rain and easy to travel and roam around with my younger one. I liked both Spain and Portugal but just wanting to avoid rain and cold.
For Spain - I am thinking Barcelona, Seville and a few nearby places like Cordoba/ Granada.
For Portugal - Lisbon, Azores and Algarve/Porto.
Feel free to suggest a better itinerary considering my requirements.
Drop the concern about rain and just plan for it. No one here or even there can forecast the rain for your trip. If they could they would not have time to post here. At that time of year I would consider more of southern Spain rather than Barcelona and further north. Good luck.
Last October I spent four nights in Lisbon. Temps were pleasant but it rained every day. There were periods of no rain but mostly, the skies were dripping and sometimes pouring. This was my first time in Lisbon so I do not know if this is normal weather for the area.
Nevertheless. I loved Lisbon.
With climate changes, it now seems difficult to predict weather.
