Has anyone know of a good souvenir shop in London and Paris? There are so many in those two cities so which one is the best in selling postcards, magnets, and quality souvenirs? Hope for replies.
We found better than average souvenirs at St. Martin-in-the-Fields (London) and the first level of the Notre Dame Tower in Paris. You only pass through that part of Notre Dame on the way up, not on the way down.
We found a reasonable quality of goods at the Churchill souvenir shops in London. But the best shops were the one at Kew Gardens and the one at the Tower of London. Higher quality, but still good prices. Kew Gardens is especially nice, with unusual items. We also found good prices at many market stalls, and unusual items, too.
I find my best souvenirs in grocery stores.
Visit the museum shops. They sell all sorts of things, big and small, expensive and cheap.
In London, I really like Harrods souvenir section. The items are well made and not outlandish in price. In Paris, or any place that has museums, I get many of my sourvenirs at the museum gift shop.
There are a couple of good ones in London accross the street from the British Library. Also a T-shirt shop that has good selection and good prices in that same location.
