As an introvert I have been social distancing for 20 years. This is my finest hour.

I agree with you FastEddie, I'm also an introvert and find no disruption to my normal life by distancing myself from others. I guess it was just fate that our day would come.

The no travel part is a bit disruptive though as I love to travel, even as an introvert.

Extroverts are having a hard time adjusting right now being confined at home. The bright side of that is people will have the time to learn a new skill online like a foreign language since most people on here enjoy traveling. This quiet time alone can be use in a positive way for future outcomes. Tough times don't last but tough people do. Folks we overcame 9/11 and we shall overcome this crisis as well.

As an extrovert, I catch myself "smiling" at people, despite having a face mask on (then instantly...duh... realizing no one can see the smile) when on the now-fewer grocery trips.

I wonder how long it will take me to later break the "new behavior" of just a quiet nod once we go back to normal life......not that there is anything wrong with just a quiet nod.

I do not even bother putting on lipstick nowadays ;o

I'm an introvert and my wife is an extrovert, we're both stuck at home. This must be that special place in Hell I was warned about...:)

Wow! That Grover video clip must be about 50 years old! Muppets were never the same after Disney bought them. May be CDC should use this as an instructional message. We could all carry a trekking pole and use it to keep others at bay.
