For those coming in on overnight flights into Zurich who have a long layover before connecting to final destination, check out the Transit Hotel inside the Zurich airport. My mother and I arrived at 8:10am this morning from USA and were so glad we’d reserved a room to sleep for 5 hours before our connecting flight to Ljubljana. It was super clean, quiet and quite comfy. There is even a nice shower with toiletries and blow dryer. Reservations strongly encouraged and we highly recommend this as a great option!

There are similar rooms in both Madrid and Barcelona airports. I think it is an idea that has come of age.

Well, the idea has been around for a long time, just in a different form, such as ACTUALLY sleeping in the airport.
Good idea for the adventurous and the poor. I've done it twice, Geneva and Berlin (for fun).
