I will be catching an early 8am flight from Paris to Berlin on easyJet this March, and I'm planning on sleeping at Paris Orly. Does anyone have any tips or things I should take note of with regard to sleeping at Paris Orly Airport?
As you might expect, there's a website for everything:
Start with a detailed map of the Airport. Print it out and highlight the WC's and route to your Gate. Note any construction/renovation areas if applicable. Try to avoid windows as they can be drafty. A bulkhead nook can be a good spot to strive for.
Chat up the Employees in the area you hope to crash in. They will be a good source of information. They can forewarn you of things like carpet cleaning or seating reassingment.
Sleeping in Airports is never ideal but it can be done...
Here is another website about sleeping in airports. http://www.sleepinginairports.net/airports.htm
From what the website says, Orly is a much much better place to sleep in than CDG.
