Sight Reservations

I recently had a post about the importance of getting tickets to the Academia and Uffizi in advanced. It was a good thing I listened because they were close to sold out when I got them. Now I am wondering if there are any other musts of sights to get tickets to in advance.

I will be seeing the sights in:
London,
Copenhagen,
Prague,
Vienna,
Venice,
Florence (covered),
Rome,
Barcelona,
Paris

Yes, the Borghese Gallery in Rome, Rick's book "Rome" tells how.

I'd get as many tickets as you can in advance - albeit as long as you don't have to commit to a time/date unless you are absolutely positive you will be in a specific area at the assigned time/date.
I found you can get Tower of London tickets online and the beauty is:
"Standard admission tickets are valid for one visit seven days from the date selected. For example if you select 1st October the ticket will be valid until the 7th October Tickets are non-refundable."

St. Paul's:

Can't do Westminster Abbey online. Most of the Royal Palaces/Mews/Windsor/Hampton Court - they can be purchased online.

Check the Paris museums online and see if you can get your tickets for those as well. The Louvre, Musee d'Orsay can be purchased ahead of time.

Enjoy your trip!

When in Paris get a museum pass. It lets you into all the museums and in the front of the lines I bought mine at St. Chapelle as the security line is long and you can't move to the front with the pass. The pass was good for all my admissions including St. Chapelle. It came in very handy at the Musee' de l'Orangerie as i went directly into the museum even though the line stretched all the way around the side of the building! Hope this helps!
Have a great time!
