Our trip is in June. I found air from Easyjet on the days I need them to the places I want to go for around $50 each. It's like $4 fare the rest taxes and fees. Do I grab them now? My friend thinks I should wait for RyanAir 1 euro sale next month. A part of me wants to wait for the bigger airlines to see if they start to offer lower fares around Feb-March. So I don't have to deal with all the baggage stress with Easyjet. All of my room reservations are based on these exact dates though.
Grab them! EasyJet is great (preferable to Ryanair anytime). The "baggage stress" with EasyJet won't be any different with Ryanair, and the larger airlines' carryon policies aren't that different, either.
GRAB THEM Easyjet uses CDG airport, Ryanair uses Beauvais, HUGE DIFFERENCE, Beavais is 90 kms from Paris no direct public transport, it bus and train, costs more and take twice as long( almost two hours with public transport, at best 1.5 hours) , do your homework! From CDG to Paris , one train, then free transfer to metro, total price 9.50 euros, and about 35- 45 minutes,, think about it. Easyjet is fine, one carry on does mean one, put your purse in your carry on, but I have used them and they are fine.
And EasyJet fares rise as it gets closer to departure date, as I imagine will also happen with the other budget carriers.
I booked 3 flights for 5 people for $585.00 Milan to Madrid Madrid to Lisbon
Lisbon to Paris Thanks! I didn't pay for baggage it was $60 extra per person. It said I could add it later online.
Stacey: If you know you are taking checked bags, be sure to pay for them online, before you get to the airport. Easyjet's fees are much higher at the airport. Otherwise, strong work! Good thing you asked here before taking bad "advice" about Ryanair.
