short, fun courses in Europe

We will be going to Europe for two weeks, July-August. We think it would be fun to make the trip a fun, educational one. If anyone knows of places/homes where we could stay and take a short course in some craft, wine making, cooking, history, etc., could you please let us know about it? We fly into Munich, and hope to have a relaxed and economical time! thank you!!

To be helpful, we need more information. Where are you going? Are you returning to Munich? Do you have any accommodations made and where? You can arrange for 1/2 day, full day, and more cooking classes in the city or small towns almost anywhere. Just Google. They tend to be very expensive, tho. What is your budget for these activities?

A cheap wine lesson can be had in Germany by booking a room or apartment at a family winery, a common way to vacation in the Mosel region. You'll get a tour of the wine cellar at least. The hosts at this place in Bernkastel speak English, offer tours, and have a small wine tavern (Strausswirtschaft.) A double room goes for 50 Euros with breakfast, probably a bit more for short stays. http://www.feriengut-bohn.de/
