I've read in certain guidebooks that some Paris museums offer "senior discounts". I couldn't find what age that's referring to. Where I live, I would guess 65, but some places consider 62, while some stores and AARP say "55". If anyone knows what Paris museums consider "senior", I'd be very interested to hear. Thanks
Most European places that give senior discounts only give them to EU residents because the US never gives such discounts to Europeans. While you can sometimes get senior discounts (called "concessions" in many countries), it is by no means common. The ages vary from 60 to 65 to as high as 65 for women in Norway and 67 for men. We are not sure of the Paris age . You might be lucky.
I am over 65 and just bought the Paris Museum Pass on my recent trip there. It was a great deal!
Madelia, Did you get a discount on the Paris Museum Pass because of your age? If so, what was it? I, too, will be 65 when we go next year.

Trudy, I didn't even ask about a senior discount! The 6 day pass seemed like a great deal.
Just got back from Paris 2 days ago. We're over 65 and we had a Paris Museum Pass. No senior discount for us older U.S., citizens. According to the official website, the museums and momuments are mosly free to youths under 18 and EU residents under 26. Check out http://en.parismuseumpass.com/rub-the-pass-please-note-21.htm
