How hard is it to send photos on e-mail/facebook without bringing a netbook or something?
We've found that it's impossible to send photos from the computers in an internet cafe, because they lack the necessary software to upload the pics from your camera. However, almost any shop that sells camera or photo equipment - look for the yellow Kodak sign - can do it for you.
Tom is correct. Of course, the other issue with Internet cafes is that they do not want you accidentally downloading a virus to their system. But I am also noticing that Internet cafe are becoming less available and harder to find. Most hotels and other locations are providing wireless access which reduces the need/demand for Internet Cafes.
Pamela,
There may be some possibilty of downloading a few images at a Net Cafe using a Memory Card reader, which doesn't require additional software. However, some Net Cafe owners may be a bit reluctant to allow connection of additional devices to their computers, so you'll have to check with them at the time.
Whether this is possible may depend on the image file sizes produced by your Camera. Larger file sizes may be an issue with some Net Cafe operators. You may have better luck with Hotel PC's, as they seem to be a bit more "lenient" about such things.

As Frank says, Internet cafes are becoming more difficult to find. About half of the cafes I've found in the last three years have had Wifi connections, so I have just used my netbook to send email and pictures. A lot of the others have had a USB connection to which I attach a flash drive or my own card reader and copy pictures directly to email.
If you have a smartphone in which you could fit a memory card that was compatible with your camera, such as a micro SD card that would double as a regular SD card with an adapter, you could pop the card into the phone and send photos as an attachment to email from the phone.

Iphones don't have a memory card slot.
Don't need a memory slot. I have 700 pictures on my iPhone and counting.
"Iphones don't have a memory card slot."
I don't have an iPhone. I was speaking of my Android phone, which accepts micro SD cards of up to 16 (or is it 32?) GB.
I know, somebody else mentioned the Iphone.
