Sending Luggage Within Europe

My 16 son is going to spend 5 months in Europe, including a volunteer camp in France and going to a German boarding school. He is required to bring different things to each and is wondering if he can send his luggage ahead once he gets there? If you have any ideas, do you know how expensive it is?

Being a German company DHL is the leading European shipping company. Why don't you find out what size and weight boxes he'd need to ship and from where to where and call DHL's 800 number to inquire about the price?
