Hi everyone,
My husband and I are finally taking our long-awaited trip to Switzerland this summer. We're both experienced hikers and are incredibly excited to spend most of our time in the Alps. While we of course plan to see famous spots like the Jungfrau region, we're really hoping to find one or two fantastic day hikes that feel a bit more away from the main tourist crowds.
We'll be based out of Interlaken for a good portion of the trip and are comfortable with trains, gondolas, and hikes that are moderately challenging.
We've been reading a lot of great suggestions here on the forum, and one thread in particular was a wonderful starting point for understanding the transportation passes and some classic routes: https://gbwhatsap.id
But now we'd love to hear from you: do you have a personal favorite "hidden gem" hike in that general area? A trail with breathtaking views where we might find a bit more solitude? Maybe a specific valley or a lesser-known mountain restaurant that's worth the trek?
We're so grateful for any local secrets or personal experiences you're willing to share. Thanks in advance for helping us make our trip even more memorable
