Hi My husband and I are planning to stay in Samos for 5 nights in September on the way to Turkey. I am having trouble finding a comfortable hotel or apartment in Pythagorian that has a double bed and is close the to harbour area. Can anyone suggest anything. None of the hotels in the area seem to get any decent reviews. We would love to stay in this area or alternatively Samos town but Pythagorian seems more attractive. Any advice really appreciated

Kay, did you go to Trip Advisor and look at the reviews of the hotels in the area? Also, have you gone to Homelidays.com and checked out the apt rentals? We use both is our search for accomodations in the EU.

Hi Yes I have checked the trip advisor reviews and there is only two hotels that have a decent review. Unfortunately 1 is up a very steep hill and that would not suit as my husband has just had a recent hip operation and the other doesnt have any vacancies. So that is why I was asking if anyone on this thread knows of anywhere else. I thought there may be a b & b or an apartment, though most apartments seem to want to rent for a minimum of 7 days in most places. I will check out the website you suggested and see if there is an apartment. Thanks
