hey guys I'm booking tickets from paris to switzerlnd and from swiss to venice and venice to rome. When I'm purchasing tickets it doesn't ask if about what seats i prefer ? is there a reason why ?

if you don't see a seating choice option, you will be assigned a seat (on fast trains), at least in Italy. Regional or local trains have open seating.

He should be booking all reserved trains (TGV, EC to Milan, Frecce) that will automatically include seat assignments as close together as possible. Not all sites let you choose your seats; they're all different; Rail Europe does not.
