Search functionality of the Travelers Helpline

Hello all,
Has anyone tried to search the Helpline lately? In the past whenever I've entered a particular search word, it gave me a list of sub sections like "Graffiti Wall", "Traveller's Helpline", "Guidebook Feedback" travel Store" etc. Now it still does that BUT the "Traveller's Helpline" section (which is what I really need) does not show up. Is anyone else having the same issues? or am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

aRies, it doesn't show up for me, either, BUT...You want to use the search feature that Sarah refers to - it's MUCH better! You're missing out on alot of hits using the one you're using.

Do as she says - From the "Travelers Helpline" 'homepage' look at the bottom of the page for the section titled "Tips and Tricks". Click on "Search the Helpline Archives". Follow the instructions - be very sure NOT to include the "" when you either 'copy and paste' or manually type in the RS address. Make sense?!?

This better way to search is also available on each section of the Helpline: "General Europe" down to "To The Boot"; above the latest posts are 3 'permanent' posts ("Get Answers...", "FAQs","POSTING GUIDELINES"). Click on "Get Answers..." and do as explained above.

Let me know if this was clear as mud LOL!

Sarah & Mary have already taken care of the OP on this, but for others having no luck searching for prior discussions here using the Helpline search box in the upper right corner of this page: it does not work. Instead, go to the Search FAQ mentioned by Sarah & Mary. There are thousands of prior discussions, on many subjects, and you can find most of them if you go to the search FAQ. It was a big step forward last Oct when the Webmaster got the permanent stickies installed! Before that, it was difficult to search for prior discussions.

Are you following the instructions under "Get answers to your questions — searching Rick's Archives" at the top of all Helpline categories? If you paste the link into the correct box and type in your search terms, then Helpline archives should come up. I've never had a problem.
