It's been going on for an hour and the score is still 0-0!!!! The uvuvuvuvuvuvulsososos are giving me a migraine. How does the crowd stand it? There must be alcohol involved! LOL. However, I am determined to watch this to the end. I guess I better go make a pitcher of margaritas.

Spain just scored!
That is it folks, World Cup is done and we have to wait 4 more years for the next one. This has been such a fun one too, with lots of surprises.
Congratulations to Spain for winning their very 1st World Cup.

I actually added a few days to my itinerary in
Amsterdam, so I could stay for the final, after being here to watch the semifinal game with a ton of Dutch folks. Last night was pretty awesome right up until Spain scored. In that moment between those thousands of people, you could hear a pin drop. It was a sad site to see in person, but being in the Netherlands on game day was pretty awesome anyway. It's been great having the World Cup going on while traveling all over Europe. :-)
