Scotland, Culzean Castle

How much time to see Culzean Castle?
I have his Ireland And England books, but we are flying into Glasgow from Ireland for our family history research down thru England and Culzean Castle looks wonderful. I love castles!

Culzean Castle is not so much a castle as a lordly manor house. It is impressive and the grounds are beautiful (yes, they can grow palm trees in Scotland). Free use of the castle was given to Ike after the war for his service. I don't know if he ever used it, but given its proximity to Turnberry Golf Links, he just might have.
PS Give it an afternoon.

Sounds like good advice. We have nothing to add.

Yes, a half day should do it.

.
There's an "Electric Brae" nearby, if you have car. Google it.
