Hello, I am a longtime worldwide traveler, Canadian citizen, and more confused than a chameleon in a bag of Skittles. Tried visa-calculator.com but for some reason the calculation "seems" wrong. (All 2026) Entered Schengen January 24, left February 20. Re-entered Schengen April 22, left May 20. Re-entered Schengen again on September 2, and want to stay until November 25. The calculator says, "no problem" but is there one? This doesn't make sense to me but I aint the sharpest tool in the shed. :)

I don't use a calculator app or website. I just use the rules and do the arithmetic myself.
The simple rule is that counting back from any date, you need to look at how many days, including any part of the days and travel days, you were in Schengen in the previous 180 days.
From your leaving date of November 25, 2026, 180 back is May 29... I do use an excellent website for that calculation https://www.timeanddate.com/date/weekdayadd.html?d1=25&m1=11&y1=2026&
So, how many days have you been in Schengen from May 29 to November 25?
Disregard the first trip - too long ago.
Leaving May 20 for the second trip, also too long ago, disregard.
Nothing unil the September 2 entry?
29 days in September
31 days in October
25 days in November
makes
85 days - you will have 5 days in your pocket.
Are you legal today?
from today, 180 back is 16th of March.
You have to look at your April 22 entry until May 20. 9+20=29, so today you are legal.
Every day you are on this current trip you add a day but also a day drops off the front.
I'm no lawyer or immigration specialist but the way I see it you will be fine as long as you don't get sick or flights change causing your 5 day buffer to evaporate.
