Hey there, I've heard there's a scenic train route from Munich to Venice. I would love to take it, but I've heard you should reserve seats in advance. I found the correct train, but I have a Eurail pass and can't seem to find out where you input your pass/show that you have a pass to get a discounted seat. Can anyone help? Thanks,
Meghan
If the train you wish to take is the direct EC train that leaves Munich at 11:31 and arrives at Venezia Santa Lucia at 18:10, then you don't need to buy a seat reservation. Reservations are not required on that train. If you leave Munich at a time that requires you to make a connection in Verona, then you will take either a EuroStar Italia train or a Regionale train from Verona to Venice. You can buy the required seat reservation for the ES train when you get to Verona. There is open seating on Regionale trains and no reservations are possible.
